Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Accreditation team as a Performance Improvement Program Manager. This role collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to enhance quality, safety, and reliability across the health system.

You will lead initiatives, apply Lean Six Sigma and other tools, and develop plans with timelines and metrics while coaching teams in improvement methodologies. Delaware license and 3+ years of healthcare experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Current RN license eligible to practice in the State of Delaware.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple initiatives and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support performance improvement, quality, patient safety, and accreditation initiatives.
• Partner with nursing, physicians, and operational leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop sustainable solutions.
• Facilitate regulatory and accreditation readiness activities, including tracers, self-assessments, and follow-up action plans.
• Use improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, 5 Whys, and process mapping.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and performance measures.
• Analyze clinical and operational data and communicate results through dashboards, scorecards, reports, and presentations.
• Help teams implement and sustain workflow and process improvements.
• Educate, coach, and support staff and leaders in performance improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate across disciplines to advance a culture of continuous improvement, patient safety, and high reliability.
