Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Accreditation team as a Performance Improvement Program Manager. This role partners with clinical and operational leaders to drive quality, patient safety, and high reliability across the health system.

The RN will lead improvement initiatives, facilitate readiness activities, and coach teams in Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies to sustain workflow improvements. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current RN license eligible to practice in Delaware.
• Minimum 3 years healthcare experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support performance improvement, quality, patient safety, and accreditation initiatives.
• Partner with nursing, physicians, and operational leaders to identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions.
• Facilitate regulatory readiness activities including tracers, self-assessments, and action plans.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, RCA, FMEA, 5 Whys, and process mapping tools.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and metrics.
