Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Accreditation team as a Performance Improvement Program Manager. You will partner with clinical and operational leaders across the system on initiatives involving quality, patient safety, accreditation, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement.

This role suits an RN who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and leading cross-disciplinary efforts to create safer, more reliable care.

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN license eligible to practice in Delaware.
• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple initiatives across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support performance improvement, quality, patient safety, and accreditation initiatives.
• Partner with nursing, physicians, and operational leaders to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
• Facilitate regulatory and accreditation readiness activities, including tracers, self-assessments, and follow-up action plans.
• Use improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, 5 Whys, and process mapping.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and performance measures.
• Analyze clinical and operational data and communicate results through dashboards, scorecards, reports, and presentations.
• Help teams implement and sustain workflow and process improvements.
• Educate, coach, and support staff and leaders in performance improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate across disciplines to advance a culture of continuous improvement, patient safety, and high reliability.
