Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Iowa RN licensure.
• 12 months of acute RN experience preferred.
• Completion of RN Residency program for new graduates.
• Ability to coordinate patient care and document thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates nursing care using the nursing process.
• Completes documentation to maintain accurate patient records.
• Uses critical thinking to make independent judgments about patient conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and other professionals to plan and implement care.
• Assesses patient and family needs and facilitates discharge planning.
• Keeps current with nursing practice and healthcare trends.
