Job summary

UnityPoint Health – Des Moines is seeking an RN for full-time night shift in Med/Surg Y8. This role requires 0.9 FTE with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation, and includes a limited-time $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

The unit specializes in acute inpatient care with a focus on teamwork, patient education, and evidence-based practice. Relocation assistance up to $10,000 is offered for moves over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current Iowa RN licensure in good standing.
• Newly licensed nurse or less than 12 months acute RN experience with RN Residency program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care for patients and families in the Med/Surg unit.
• Collaborates with care givers within the Professional Nurse Practice Model.
