Job summary

UnityPoint Health – Des Moines is seeking newly licensed RNs for acute inpatient roles in our Younker Rehab unit. Eligible staff may receive a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance up to $10,000 for moves over 50 miles.

Roles require participation in the RN Residency program and provide 24/7 nursing and physician coverage with a focus on rehabilitation outcomes. Positions offer night shifts with weekend/holiday rotation, 36 hours per week, and shift differentials for qualifying shifts,

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
• Newly licensed nurse or less than 12 months acute RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a Registered Nurse as defined in Iowa Nursing Regulations and Practice Act. Provides nursing care for patients and families and maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, within UnityPoint Health-Des Moines.
• Collaborates with other care givers within the Professional Nurse Practice Model and supports patient education and transitions to home or further care.
