Job summary

Piedmont Eastside is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down on the night shift. The role provides care from newborn to elderly, with a focus on evidence-based nursing in a state-of-the-art unit.

You will work with RN staff, Patient Care Techs, and unit leadership on a 24-bed PCU in Snellville, GA. The RN staff nurse coordinates patient care, assessments, and education, while documenting outcomes and contributing to a collaborative, high-quality environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current Georgia RN license or multi-state licensure (NLC/eNLC).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from birth through lifecycle using nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with assigned staff and resources.
• Document care accurately in patient records.
• Communicate effectively with charge nurse and physicians.
