Job summary

Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down on the Night shift. This Full Time position offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and supports a bridge between ICU and Medical-Surgical care.

The role involves delivering evidence-based nursing care in a 24-bed PCU, coordinating with techs and charge nurses, and utilizing state-of-the-art technology to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current License in GA as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments to include collection of data regarding the patient's physical, psychosocial and health history.
• Organizes patient data into the formulation of a plan of care; identifies additional information needed and makes care decisions based on identified needs.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support team members.
• Documents patient care and concerns in the patient record.
