ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical assignment in Texas. The RN will practice independently, manage complex patient care, and delegate effectively while focusing on long-range goals and contingency management.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, addressing psychosocial needs, administering medications, and documenting care. Education for patients and families is also provided.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only).
• Active RN License in the state of Texas or compact state.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in a Medical-Surgical setting practices independently while demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. The RN provides routine and complex care, focused on long-range goals and contingency management. This role requires effective delegation and management of clinical situations.

Schedule

This position is a full-time night shift role, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
