Centra Health in Lynchburg, VA seeks an RN Patient Placement Coordinator to oversee admissions and transfers, ensuring optimal bed utilization and continuous patient throughput. You will collaborate with physicians, the Flow Coordinator, and nursing staff to coordinate referrals, convey bed availability, and support emergency operations.

This role requires Virginia RN licensure, and a strong leadership and communication skills.

Formación

• Associates Degree or higher from accredited School of Nursing.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Virginia or eligibility for multistate licensure.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a positive attitude and strong verbal communication.
• Licensed or eligible for Virginia licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee patient admissions and transfers to optimize bed placement.
• Serve as the command center for patient flow across ED, admissions, surgeries, and transfers.
• Collaborate with Flow Coordinator to address throughput concerns.
• Coordinate patient referrals from outside physicians to local care teams.
• Provide bed availability information to Incident Command during disasters.
• On-call PACE and Remote Home Monitoring support for community services.
