VCU Health in Virginia Richmond seeks a Clinical Coordinator to manage patient flow, coordinate nursing unit activities during shifts, and serve as a resource and leader for patients, staff, and collaborating teams.

The role requires RN licensure in Virginia, 3 years of clinical experience with charge nurse or supervisory background, and engagement in ongoing education including RN to BSN progression; expect shift-based scheduling and adherence to nursing standards.

Competenze

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible compact state.
• AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience; charge nurse or supervisory experience.
• Academic Health Care experience is preferred.

• Follows documented physician/licensed independent provider orders.
• Practices within the boundaries of the regulations governing the practice of nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Practice is guided by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nursing and established national nursing practice standards.
• Organizes and plans work with input from the patient/family with specific outcomes and demonstrated use of sound clinical judgment and resources.
• Organizes work and delegates and supervises others (RN’s, LPNs, Care Partners, Unit Secretaries, etc).
