Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team.
• Responsible for patient and guest satisfaction and care experience.
• Medication administration using clinical documentation technology for safe delivery.
• Patient and family centered care to optimize health and management.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration from admission to discharge to ensure safe transition of care.
