Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to deliver patient-centered nursing care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes safety, evidence-based practice, and clear communication with patients and families.

The position requires a NJ RN license and BLS/CPR certification, with BSN preferred or obtainable within 3 years. A minimum of six months of nursing experience or participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six (6) or more months of nursing experience OR active Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing care according to evidence-based policies and standards to provide safe, patient-centered care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health-care team regarding patient status and treatment plans.
• Responsible for optimal patient satisfaction and care experience per Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Medication administration using the latest clinical documentation technology to ensure safe delivery.
• Patient and family-centered care to optimize health, wellness and disease management.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration to manage the care plan from admission to discharge.
