Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. You will assess patients, implement plans, document care, and support safe transitions across the continuum.

Minimum requirements include a BSN in progress (or within three years), at least six months of nursing experience (or participation in HMH Nurse Residency), and NJ RN license with BLS within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active Nurse Residency with Hackensack Meridian Health.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability, teamwork, ongoing education and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
• Coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary team and supports safe transitions.
• Documents assessments, plan of care, interventions and evaluation of care.
• Assesses data and identifies changes in patient status to escalate as needed.
• Delivers age-appropriate, disease-specific care and education to patients and families.
