Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. in New Jersey seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. The RN will coordinate care, delegate tasks, and support patient outcomes across diverse populations.

Candidates must hold an associate nursing degree or diploma, with BSN in progress or planned within three years; six months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation; and a valid RN license plus BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must have six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR must be an active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs; strong accountability and teamwork; dedication to ongoing education.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes and provide direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Directs and oversees care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
