Job summary

Hackensack MeridianHealth in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate activities to deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care across patient populations.

The role requires BSN in progress or completion within three years, at least six months of nursing experience (or nurse residency participation), and active BLS.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of entering position

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per current policies to ensure safe, excellent patient care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and document care.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families, addressing learning needs and cultural considerations.
• Maintain clinical competencies and comply with organizational standards and accreditation requirements.
