Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, timely documentation, and effective patient/family communication.

The position requires an RN license with at least an associate degree or nursing diploma; BSN in progress or within three years is preferred. A minimum of six months’ nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• BSN in progress or within three years of hire.
• Six or more months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation.
• Ability to learn quickly, teamwork, and ongoing education commitment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per current evidence-based practice and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; coordinate with team.
• Communicate plans to patient/family and health-care team.
• Administer medications with barcode/documentation accuracy.
• Discharge planning and ensuring safe transitions of care.

Education

Associate degree in nursing or diploma of nursing

BSN in progress or within three years of hire

Six months nursing experience or Nurse Residency program participation
