Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Manager of the Palliative Care Program to provide direction, leadership, and oversight for the department. The role focuses on a seamless Mercy Care Model, improving quality of care, patient safety, and financial stewardship.

Responsibilities include coordinating the inpatient Palliative Care Program with the Medical Director, leading a multidisciplinary team, and driving metrics aligned with Mercy’s strategic goals. This is a full-time night shift leadership position.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (state or compact licensure)
• Education: RN degree as required (Associate/Diploma/BSN)
• Preferred: Master’s degree in nursing and CHPN certification would be a plus

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the Palliative Care Program and coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts.
• Lead quality care initiatives and align goals with Mercy’s strategic direction.
• Manage the Palliative Care Coordinator team and ensure program metrics are met.
• Support Mercy Care Model integration to improve patient safety and outcomes.
