Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Manager of the Palliative Care Program to lead and oversee the inpatient Palliative Care Program, ensuring quality patient care and safety. The role collaborates with the Medical Director and coordinates a multidisciplinary team to optimize performance and adoption of best practices.

The position is full-time, night shift (40 hours per week) with a focus on leadership, education, and program development within Mercy's care model.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• CPHP or CHPN certification or obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification or course completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the inpatient Palliative Care Program.
• Leads the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and safety.
• Oversees the Palliative Care Coordinator team and program goals.
