Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Manager of the Palliative Care Program to provide direction, leadership, and oversight for the department, coordinating with the Medical Director to deliver quality, patient-centered care and integrate the Mercy Care Model.

You will lead the Palliative Care Coordinator team, set goals and metrics, supervise night shift operations, and drive adoption of best practices while ensuring patient safety and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state (or compact licensure)
• 3 years of Palliative Care experience
• 2 years of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the inpatient Palliative Care Program with the Medical Director.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Establish program goals and outcome metrics aligned with Mercy's strategy.
• Manage the Palliative Care Coordinator team.
