Mercy in Missouri seeks a Manager-Palliative Care to lead the inpatient program, coordinating a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care. This full-time night-shift role focuses on advancing Mercy Care Model principles and ensuring patient safety and financial stewardship.

The position oversees the Palliative Care Coordinator team, sets program goals, and measures outcomes to align with Mercy’s strategic direction. RN licensure and CHPN are required or pursued within timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma or BSN) required.
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• 3 years of Palliative Care experience.
• 2 years of leadership experience.
• RN license in hiring state or compact licensure required.
• CHPN certification or obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification or course completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direction, leadership and oversight management for the Palliative Care Department.
• Manage inpatient Palliative Care Program with Medical Director to ensure multidisciplinary quality care.
• Establish program goals and outcome metrics aligned with Mercy’s strategy.
• Oversee Palliative Care Coordinator team.
