Job summary

Mercy in Overland, MO, seeks a Manager of the Palliative Care Program to lead the inpatient team, coordinate care, and ensure quality patient outcomes. You will shape the Mercy Care Model, promote safety and financial performance, and drive integration across services.

The role requires RN leadership experience, a nursing degree, CHPN or progress toward it, and BLS certification. You will work nights full-time and oversee the Palliative Care Coordinator team.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• 3 years of Palliative Care experience.
• 2 years of leadership experience.
• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• CHPN certification or within 1 year of hire; BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees inpatient Palliative Care Program with Medical Director.
• Establishes program goals and outcome metrics aligned with Mercy’s strategy.
• Manages and oversees the Palliative Care Coordinator team.
