Ascension is seeking a Night Shift RN at Ascension St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.

You’ll perform biopsychosocial assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, and participate in treatment team conferences to tailor goals and interventions for patients in Behavioral Health. Responsibilities include leading group sessions, evaluating responses, and coordinating with the care team to adjust plans as patient status changes.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• RN license obtained prior to hire date.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Initial and on-going bio-psychosocial assessments according to accepted standards of nursing practice. Develop a nursing plan of care consistent with the master treatment plan.
• Participate in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives and interventions appropriate to the age-related and problem-specific needs of each patient.
• Implement nursing plan of care for assigned patients and conducts and/or co-leads group therapy sessions for patients.
• Evaluate patient's response to interventions and revises nursing plan of care as needed. Collaborate with the treatment team to revise goals, objectives and interventions appropriate to the changes in patient status.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
