Job summary

Ascension is hiring a Registered Nurse in Indianapolis to implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate multidisciplinary care on a 7am–7:30pm schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week. You will carry out physician and nursing orders and participate in discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Applicants must hold an Indiana RN license and a nursing diploma, with BLS by hire date. Prior ortho/trauma/ER/med-surg experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• RN credentialed by Indiana Board of Nursing before hire date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
