Job summary

Rogers Memorial Hospital in New Jersey seeks a Registered Nurse (RN, RN II, RN III) to join our upcoming PHP/IOP outpatient clinic opening Fall 2026. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, with a typical shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The RN provides professional nursing care, collaborates with the health team, and maintains patient safety and privacy in accordance with hospital policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Complete initial assessments and documents as required.
• Collect, record, and analyze pertinent data for admission assessment.
• Explain patient's rights and obtain signatures on necessary consents.
• Act as a patient advocate and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist in patient orientation and plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial assessments and documents as required.
• Collect, record, and analyze, within prescribed timeframe, pertinent data for admission assessment according to Hospital policy.
• Involve patient's support systems in assessment and documentation.
• Explain patient's rights and obtain signatures on necessary consents.
• Provide the patient with information and obtain their signature on necessary consents.
• Assist in patient orientation process.
• Know and employ Hospital policies and procedures regarding unit safety and patient privacy.
• Initiate and update treatment plan and documentation as required.
• Participate in planning and modifying the patient's plan of care.
