Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health in Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse for our new PHP/IOP outpatient clinic opening Fall 2026. This Full-time role provides professional nursing care, evaluates patient needs, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and well-being.

The RN will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, document progress, and advocate for patient rights while ensuring safety and compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• BSN required and RN licensed in the state of employment.
• CPR certification or recertification within thirty (30) days of hire.
• Formal training/qualification for management of the aggressive patient may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial assessments and document as required.
• Assess and document information collected for admission and plan of care.
• Act as patient advocate, explain rights, obtain signatures and ensure privacy.
• Develop and interpret the plan of care with patient/family and update as indicated.
• Identify changes in patient status and intervene to prevent adverse outcomes.
• Implement safe medication administration and document responses and effects.
