Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a dedicated RN for the Labor and Delivery unit to provide specialized care through labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. You will monitor maternal and fetal well-being, respond to obstetric emergencies, and coordinate care with the obstetric team.

This role requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, and prior obstetric experience. You will work closely with physicians, midwives, and anesthesia providers to ensure safe

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery or obstetric nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with fetal monitoring, labor management, and high-risk obstetric care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and continuously monitor maternal and fetal condition during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, vital signs, and other indicators of well-being.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments safely.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and respond to obstetric emergencies.
• Provide patient education and emotional support throughout labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and maintain accurate documentation and handoff.

Education & Experience

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
