Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery on a 13-week night shift assignment. The unit handles about 400 patients monthly and approximately 120 deliveries per month.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, and fetal monitoring expertise. You will care for antepartum through post‑operative obstetric patients, acting as a cesarean circulator when needed and coordinating care with the interprofessional team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and post‑operative obstetric patients.

• Collaborate with physicians, CNMs, and anesthesia to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Support rapid response situations and emergency obstetrical interventions.

• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• STABLE certification preferred but not required

Description:The Labor & Delivery unit cares for approximately 400 patients each month.The unit supports an average of 120 deliveries per month.Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and post-operative obstetric patients.Care for high-risk and high-acuity maternal patients at 32 weeks gestation and above.Function as a cesarean section circulator and provide post-anesthesia recovery care as appropriate.Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in maternal and fetal status utilizing critical thinking and evidence-based practice.Interpret fetal heart rate patterns and intervene appropriately to promote maternal and fetal well-being.Collaborate with physicians, certified nurse midwives, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Support emergency obstetrical interventions and participate in rapid response situations.Provide patient and family education while promoting a positive birth experience.Adhere to professional, regulatory, and organizational standards of nursing practice.
