Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a dedicated RN - L&D to provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, monitor maternal and fetal well-being, and coordinate care with the obstetric team.

Responsibilities include assisting vaginal and cesarean deliveries, monitoring fetal heart rate, administering medications, and providing patient education and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Experience with fetal monitoring, labor management, and high-risk obstetric care preferred.
• Active RN license required; BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required; fetal monitoring cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal condition throughout labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, vital signs, and other indicators of maternal and fetal well-being.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments safely.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and respond to obstetric emergencies.
• Provide patient education, emotional support, and guidance throughout labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient handoff.

Education & Experience

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery or obstetric nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with fetal monitoring, labor management, and high-risk obstetric care is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NRP certification required.
• Fetal monitoring certification preferred.
