Job summary

Maple Grove Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in managing the Nursing Department. The ADON will supervise staff, monitor quality of care, and participate in QA initiatives within a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating nursing services with resident care, aiding in staffing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the DON in day-to-day operations and investigations as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with current state license.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a current CPR certification.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON in planning, directing, and evaluating daily nursing operations.
• Identify process improvements to enhance resident care and workflow.
• Delegate responsibilities to Charge Nurses and Supervisors.
• Support staffing decisions and monitor absenteeism and scheduling.
• Participate in quality assurance, surveys, and discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
