Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with current state license.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing day‑to‑day nursing department functions.
• Develop staff, coach, and counsel as needed; participate in hiring decisions.
• Monitor nursing care, ensure compliance with policies, and coordinate with other departments.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and respond to surveys or regulatory requests.
• Assist in developing care plans and MDS coordination; fill in as needed when DON is unavailable.
