Job summary

Maplewood Nursing and Rehab Center in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department and ensure high-quality care for residents. You will lead licensed nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals, collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop care plans, and drive quality improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field, at least 2 years of leadership

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of licensed nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and adherence to established policies and procedures
Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, prioritizing patient-centered care and positive outcomes
Conduct staff meetings and provide coaching, guidance, and support to ensure that our nursing team is equipped to deliver exceptional care
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient outcomes
Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Foster open communication and collaboration with other departments, including therapy, social work, and dietary services to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
