Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Greater Manchester Region is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) to lead educational initiatives, support competency development, and advance evidence-based practice across the nursing staff at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

You will partner with nursing leadership to design programs, mentor staff, oversee onboarding, and drive process improvement using LEAN and high-reliability principles to improve patient care.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Licensed RN in CT prior to hire date.
• NPD or Clinical Specialty Certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Uses educational design process and adult learning principles to bridge gaps identified through learning needs assessment.
• Collaborates with nursing leadership to assess learning needs, develops programs and monitors clinical competency.
• Promotes professional nursing practice and quality patient care according to ANA standards.
• Mentors and develops others and supports ongoing professional learning.
• Develops and evaluates onboarding programs and role changes.
• Drives change using LEAN and high reliability strategies to improve processes.
