Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to advance nursing practice through education, competency development, and professional growth in the Greater Manchester region.

You will collaborate with nursing leadership, facilitate onboarding, and guide evidence-based practice across our system. A BSN and CT RN licensure are required, with 3+ years of clinical nursing experience and precepting preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of active clinical nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care environment or area of specialty for ambulatory/ancillary environments.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in CT.
• NPD or Clinical Specialty Certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning using educational design process and adult learning principles.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess learning needs and develop programs.
• Monitor clinical competency and support action plans; represent nursing in inter-professional learning activities.
• Promote professional nursing practice and standardize policies.
• Support onboarding and orientation of Hartford HealthCare colleagues.
• Drive improvement through LEAN and high reliability.
• Lead competency management and measurement.
• Coach and mentor learners across practice levels.
