Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced RN supervisor for a part-time role (24 hours/week). The incumbent will lead nursing teams, ensure compliance with nursing practice Act, and coordinate patient flow with interdisciplinary teams to support timely admissions and discharges.

Responsibilities include round on units, guidance on policies, and staff communications. Requires BSN, active RN licensure, and CPI/BLS certifications; two years of nursing leadership experience

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with active RN licensure.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.
• BSN required; BSN non-BSN must enroll in BSN within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• BLS required; CPI certification within 90 days; professional certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Communicate administrative problems and actions to nurse leaders and administrators.
• Round on units to assess efficiency, productivity, and satisfaction.
• Guide staff on laws and policies governing nursing practice.
• Coordinate shift communications via huddles and rounds.
• Coordinate patient flow, admissions, and discharges with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor staffing using Float Pool/PRN and reallocate as needed.
