Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
• BSN required; enrollment in BSN program if not BSN at hire/transfer.
• BLS required; professional certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support manager to enhance nursing practice and department operations.
• Assist with interviewing, selecting, and supervising nursing staff.
• Coordinate shift communications and staff huddles to exchange information.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and hospital policies.
• Conduct patient/employee/physician rounds to evaluate satisfaction and care quality.
• Delegate care tasks according to policy and staffing needs.
• Identify expected outcomes and monitor progress toward goals.
• Perform nursing care, assist with treatments, therapies, and medications.
