Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state (NC).
• BSN degree is required.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates administrative problems and actions to nurse leaders or senior admins.
• Rounds on units to assess efficiency, patient care, and satisfaction.
• Guides staff on laws, Nursing Practice Act, and company policies.
• Facilitates shift huddles and interdepartmental meetings for information flow.
• Monitors resource use to meet patient care needs.
• Supervises nursing staff, identifies issues, and documents actions.
• Advises on new treatments and interprets policies for staff and families.
• Coordinates patient flow and admissions/discharges with interdisciplinary teams.

Education

RN licensure in NC

BSN required

Two years nursing experience preferred

BLS required

CPI certification within 90 days

Professional certification (clinical or leadership) within 1 year
