Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required and active RN license in the state.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Leadership or management experience preferred.
• RN candidates must enroll in BSN program within 1 year and complete within 3 years if not already BSN.

Responsibilities

• Supports nursing management to enhance quality and effectiveness of care.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing staff.
• Facilitates communication via staff meetings/huddles to promote dialogue.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess satisfaction and care quality.
• Delegates care to appropriate healthcare workers per policy and legal parameters.
• Identifies expected outcomes to guide continuity of care and operations.
• Monitors progress toward outcomes and shares updates with the team.
• Performs nursing care, assists with treatments and medications as needed.
• Coordinates patient flow and staffing based on volume and acuity.
