Job summary

Genesiscareers seeks a Nurse Educator in Bethlehem, PA to orient and educate nursing staff in our long-term care center and ensure safe, evidence-based patient care.

You will report to the Director of Nursing, develop education programs, supervise orientation, conduct competency testing and oversee Employee Health activities including vaccines, with a strong emphasis on adult learning and gerontology.

Qualifications

• RN license and nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience; long-term care preferred.
• Experience in adult education and staff training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Orient and educate nursing staff in the center to ensure safe, effective care.
• Report to the Director of Nursing and develop education programs.
• Supervise orientation and conduct annual competency testing.
• Oversee Employee Health activities including vaccines and health tracking.
