Job summary

Penn Medicine, a leading academic medical center, seeks a Clinical Nurse 2 to join the 6 Cathcart unit at Pennsylvania Hospital for a full-time night shift. The unit is a complex 43-bed medical-surgical team delivering high-quality care with an interdisciplinary approach.

The Clinical Nurse 2 provides patient care through the nursing process, collaborates with interprofessional teams, upholds professional standards, and mentors other staff.

Qualifications

• BSN required or equivalent.
• PA RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 15+ months nursing experience and/or Nurse Residency completion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with interprofessional teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.
