Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Clinical Nurse 2 for the 7 Cathcart/7-Preston unit. This is a full-time, night shift opportunity on a 60-bed medical-surgical unit caring for postoperative and neurology patients.

Be part of a team delivering direct patient care and education after joint replacements and various neurosurgical procedures. The Clinical Nurse 2 collaborates with an interprofessional team, uses the nursing process, and upholds CQI, Evidence Based Practice, and Patient- and Family-Centered

Qualifications

• BLS/CPR required for healthcare provider role.
• Registered Nurse license for PA is required.
• BA/BS degree or higher is required.
• BSN from an accredited school is required.
• Equivalent nursing experience may apply with Nurse Residency completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with interprofessional health care team to coordinate care.
• Demonstrate CQI, Evidence Based Practice, and Leadership in daily practice.
• Advocate for Person and Family Centered Care and safety in care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and professional practice.
