Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required).
• BLS/CPR, as a healthcare provider as per the American Heart Association.
• Registered Nurse - PA (Required).
• Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required).
• Education BSN: BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Less than 15 months experience required.

Responsibilities

• Professional Practice Competency Domains: CQI, EBP/Research, Leadership, and Teamwork.
• Provide direct care to patients across age ranges and care settings.
• Coordinate with the interprofessional health care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Develop and demonstrate safe, evidence-based nursing practice.
• Advance from Clinical Nurse 1 New to Practice/Apprentice toward Clinical Nurse 2 by 18 months.
• Uphold patient- and family-centered care and safety standards.
