Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and postpartum to support Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals, with night shifts and per diem scheduling.

As part of the ISCU, L&D and postpartum teams you will apply the nursing process, coordinate care, supervise unlicensed staff, and collaborate with the health-care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license.
• Minimum two years of acute care experience in Labor & Delivery or postpartum/ISCU.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care for labor, delivery and postpartum patients.
• Apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Promote safety and high-quality patient experiences.
