Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, Colorado is hiring a Registered Nurse for 12 hour night shifts, full-time or per diem. You’ll provide resident care, coordinate with the team, and ensure safety and comfort in a holistic plan. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time nights.

Active Colorado RN license and CPR certification are required. Experience with EMR and senior care is preferred; MS Office and web applications are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Colorado RN license.
• CPR certification required (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office, internet and web applications.
• Seasoned RNs or new grads welcome.
• Experience caring for seniors or cognitively impaired preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families with a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by teaching residents and families about conditions and self-care.
• Monitor changes in residents’ status and respond to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain infection prevention and administer medications per orders.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the electronic medical record timely and accurately.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
