Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, CO, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for 12-hour night shifts on a full-time basis, with per diem options. Active Colorado RN license and CPR certification required; prior senior-care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license required.
• CPR certification required (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, focusing on holistic care.
• Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards of care.
• Promote resident independence by teaching care goals and self-care skills.
• Monitor residents to detect status changes and ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care team to deliver routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications.
• Develop and coordinate holistic care plans with the team.
• Support resident preferences and documentation in EMR.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation.
• Participate in care conferences when requested by Clinical Manager.
