Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing team. The role features 12-hour night shifts, with full-time or per diem options and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time nights.

The successful candidate will hold an active Colorado RN license and CPR certification. Experience with EMR and basic computer skills are preferred to support resident care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license is required.
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office and internet.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, addressing physical, spiritual, emotional and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in line with nurse practice acts and standards.
• Promote independence by setting goals and teaching residents and families.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates for routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention and administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Respect resident preferences in the EMR and care plans.
• Ensure documentation is current and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
