Medical City Dallas is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Full Time Night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients and families aligning with our values and standards.

You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, and educate patients. The role emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and a strong patient experience across the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associates degree acceptable to start; Bachelor's within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in TX or compact license.
• Current BLS by AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience in last 3 years.
• Ortho experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess health status and needs of patients and families.
• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Formulate and implement nursing care plans.
• Deliver nursing care within RN scope and applicable laws.
• Develop and implement patient teaching plans.
• Offer education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Care for multiple patients directly or via delegation.
• Evaluate responses and outcomes to interventions.
• Apply critical thinking to clinical data and literature.
