Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, guided by established nursing models and organizational values.

The role emphasizes assessment on admission and every shift, medication administration, timely documentation, patient education, and advocacy for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Associate's Degree acceptable to start; Bachelor's required within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• 1 year acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt responses to patient requests and educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up measures.
• Translate complex medical terminology to patients to ensure complete understanding.

Formation

Graduate of accredited nursing program

Associate's Degree acceptable to start
