Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with care teams, and advocate for patients in line with our standards and values.

Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and during shifts, administering medications, documenting care, responding to requests, and educating patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• 1 year acute care experience in area/unit highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree to be obtained within 24 months of hire into RN position.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Educate patients and families about the condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
