Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients in line with nursing standards.

The role emphasizes assessments, documentation, medication administration, patient education, and seamless care transitions within a large, state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
• Associate's Degree ok; Bachelor's required within 24 months of hire
• Current RN license in TX or compact license
• Current BLS from AHA or Red Cross
• 1 year acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, identifying changes and reporting them promptly
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record
• Provide exceptional care by responding to patient requests and anticipating needs
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, meds, side effects, and follow-up, translating medical terms
